Job Description

You will design Lendesk’s Web and Mobile products—this means doing the research, UX design, visual design, copywriting, and usability testing on every project you touch. You’ll work to solve complicated, abstract problems alongside people from all parts of the company, including sales, customer success, development, and product management. As part of a highly collaborative team, you’ll need to clarify requirements, adapt, and communicate your thoughts and ideas clearly, while helping others do the same.

While your primary focus will be on our products, you’ll be joining a close-knit, multidisciplinary design team. You’ll have the opportunity to spread your design wings by working on marketing assets, illustrations, internal memes, and investigating new tools or processes to bring back to the team. You’ll take part in our workshops, learning events, team lunches, and take your turn drawing endearing caricatures of your coworkers during Friday all-hands meetings. We have an open, evolving culture and processes that you’ll be able to contribute to.

Skills and Experience

  • You are an excellent communicator and love collaborating with smart people who have diverse skills
  • You have 2+ years of professional experience designing web-based products
  • You’ve got a strong background in UX and UI design
  • You’ve got prototyping chops—Principle, InVision, or otherwise
  • You’re proficient with the typical design tools—Sketch, Photoshop, Illustrator, or whatever fancies you
  • You have a portfolio featuring examples of your design work
  • You can take charge and work independently to push projects across the finish line
  • You can break down complex problems in a logical, systematic way
  • You’ve got a sharp eye for details
